Uranus in Retrograde
is not one that will last long this time around!! I know most of you are probably used to Mercury in Retrograde where it's a solid month or so....but that's not the case with Uranus at the beginning of 2019!
When retrogrades happen, regardless of which planet it is....they turn the planet's energy inward, which causes us to feel them internally and externally!!
It's really nothing to fear, and this is nothing new. The best thing we can do is be educated on the subject so that when these Retrogrades happen, we can adjust to situations.
Uranus will Retrograde from
Jan.1st -
Jan. 6th, 2019
In 2019 the 7th planet from the Sun,Uranus will go into Retrograde twice. This is the 1st of them. We get to start off slow here with it only lasting 5 days this month, a nice way to ease into the new year right? As you see, later in the year, it will last for 4 months (142 days)!

What happens when Uranus is in Retrograde...
Expect the unexpected when Uranus is in Retrograde! Uranus encourages us to think as far outside of the box as possible...maybe even breaking through that box!!
It can be a time of Chaos! You might be hearing more on the news that things seem a bit out of control!
Luckily as it's only 5 days, it won't last long!
It will be a time where you are opposite of your normal...so if your usually shy, you'll be more outgoing and visa versa. Behaviors of yourself or others may seem off. You will take note that a person you know really well... who would usually respond a certain way, will not respond as your used to! This goes for you as well though.
As Uranus is known as "The Planet of Change" you will also notice that people are more open to change! New Ideas will come your way, new behaviors, and new normals. This is a time where you expand your conciseness beyond the limiting beliefs that you are faced with from time to time. You will experience a shift within you, where a change that you had been resisting suddenly becomes more appealing!
You will notice that during this time your Intuition will be heightened!! This is a good thing!! Follow the thoughts that your inner guidance is presenting to you. Act on it! Take some time to mediate and tap into your higher self. You can also use this time to meet up with your Spirit Guides/Angels.
How To Deal...
Of course being aware that these retrogrades are happening just allows us the information to change or shift how we react or respond to situations that come up during that time.
Ways that we can deal with this shift in energy is to explore inwardly what freedom means to you. What you need to change to be in this freedom. Play with this idea and focus your attention on that. The more focused you are on the positive things...the negative aspects of this retrograde energy won't affect you as much!
Also, take this time to focus on what changes you would like to manifest as the year continues onward! This is the perfect time to tap into this "change" activity!
